Sightseeing

As a Cape Town holiday base, Newlands is a mere 10-minutes drive to Cape Town CBD, Table Mountain cable car, the V&A Waterfront, Robben Island Ferry, Constantia Winelands and even closer to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and Cavendish Shopping Mall.  In 20-minutes you can be lying on a sandy beach at Clifton, surfing at Muizenberg, on a boat trip to Seal Island in Hout Bay, or sipping cocktails at a Camps Bay street café.  In 30-40 minutes you'll find yourself in the Cape Winelands of Stellenbosch, Franschoek and Paarl, taking photos of penguins on Boulder's Beach, or staring out to see at the Cape of Good Hope.  Close to leading schools and the University of Cape Town.

 

Pub, Grub & Sports

"Forries", Cape Town's most renowned hostelry for al-fresco drinks, pub food and big-screen sports, is a 2-minute walk. To watch live matches, Claramay holiday home in Newlands, couldn't be better situated, you can walk to the international rugby and cricket grounds and drive to Greenpoint Soccer Stadium in 10-minutes.

Inside: sleeps 9 people in 5 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms with double beds, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 bedroom with 1 single bed, 4 stylish, modern bathrooms with showers and/or baths, stone and granite finishes, three heated towel rails and guest toilet. Three comfy lounges: 2 TV-Rooms with satellite channels and dual viewing and a sunny relaxing lounge opening onto a garden patio. Kitchen has gas hob, electric oven, built-in microwave, double sink, scullery with full laundry.

Outside: Swimming pool (netted), patio furniture and loungers for pool area. Double garage with remote control (not suitable for high vehicles) Property is secured with garden beams and rapid response alarm.

Linen and towels provided.
